Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College - A landmark mega project by CSRM
Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College is a public medical school established in 2014. It is located in Sirajganj district and is affiliated with the Rajshahi Medical University. It has a 5-year course for becoming a doctor, and each year, it welcomes about 65 new students. A one-year internship is compulsory for all graduates after completing the graduation.
In the future, they want to bring in around 100 students every year. Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College was built in the Sirajganj district for the development of the medical sector of the country and CSRM is proud to supply steel for the construction of Mansoor Ali Medical College.
History of Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College
Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College has a meaningful history that began with its establishment as "Sirajganj Medical College, Sirajganj." The college, later renamed in honor of Muhammad Mansur Ali, a distinguished Bangladeshi politician and close confidante of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, carries a legacy of excellence.
In the year 2014–2015, the Bangladesh government decided to create six new medical colleges, and this college in Sirajganj was one of them! It's all part of making healthcare better all over the country. It has covered a large area—121,406 square meters (30.0 acres)—with some buildings being newer and others older.
